Friar Nicola

Friar Nicola Friar Nicola was born in Gesturi on the 4th August 1882 ( in the civil register: the 5th August 1882) from Giovanni Medda and Priama Cogoni. The archbishop of Cagliari began the action for the beatification and canonization celebrating during the years 1966-1971 the ordinary-informative trial, relying on a widespread and well-established fame of sainthood. The 25th June 1996 the decree about the heroic character of the virtues was published.
